The broken pitcher masterstudy
Here we have a masterstudy of William-Adolphe Bouguereau ” La Cruche Cassee ” I did at school in our “Digital Illustration” class. It’s my first attempt to really use Photoshop for a complex picture…and my first time ever doing a masterstudy on something. I adore Bourguereau. He’s one of my favourite artists ever. I’m sorry but I couldn’t do this wonderful masterpiece I adore so much ANY justice.
I know that her face is a lot different to the original but at some point I decided to leave her that way…(at first I tryed it and she looked a lot more like in the original piece but I couldn’t indentify her with me so I decided to keep my girl…
This excecise really helped me to use photoshop better as a drawing program and also getting used to a graphic tablet..
